Chairman of Arkansas Democratic Party Fatally Shot

Chairman Bill Gwatney of the Democratic Party was rushed to University Hospital after being fatally shot late this morning.
According to reports, a white male entered the state party headquarters right before noon and asked to speak to Gwatney.
After being introduced, the man reportedly took out a gun and shot Gwatney three times in the chest.
The man immediately ran out the door and a car chase ensued. Cops later apprehended the man by forcing his car off the street.
A gun fight followed, where the man was reportedly shot and killed by officers.
At this time the gunman’s name has not been released.
