Student Assistant Jobs description
A student assistant job involves keeping an accurate record of all activities and time spent on each of the official time sheet, making regular reports to supervisor on students who need special attention, solicit feedback from section of a class or discussion group, tutoring individuals or groups – in information or in skills (e.g. dissecting, computing, etc.), grading, helping plan or administer a course, helping curricular management. A student assistant provides a detailed description of those qualifications that an employee must possess in order to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position and keep an accurate record of all activities and time spent on each on the official time sheet. A student assistants are expected to demonstrate a conscientious, dedicated attitude toward the job, courteous, helpful, and service-oriented in addition to performing tasks accurately and efficiently. A student assistant develops and maintains timely and necessary case documentation; serves as liaison and consultant to employers and community organizations regarding opportunities and considerations related to hiring individuals with disabilities.A student assistant requires an ongoing education, and preferably related experience. A student assistant should have strong analytical and organizational skills; experience with analyzing performance results; strong time management skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines. A student assistant must have superior verbal and written communication skills; experience with preparing communications for diverse constituencies. A student assistant should have ability to work well with others at all levels.
