Forester jobs thus cover a wide range of work available through the various local, state and federal national parks and forest service.The most well known job is that of a forest ranger or a biologist who works in a particular national or state park. While the pay is according to the civil service rank of the employee and this decent but not much according to private industry standards, people in the profession rate their job as very satisfactory. Biologists and vets get to fly around in helicopters tracking wolfs in the Alaskan wilderness or spend time in Yellowstone or Yosemite National Parks and they get paid for this because its their work.
