Summary

You will serve as a Administrative Assistant in the Director for Administration of BUREAU OF MEDICINE.

Responsibilities

You will backup the human resources liaison, training officer, awards program manager including entry into the Navy Department Awards Web Service database.

You will serve as the Enterprise Knowledge Management coordinator for the department ensuring incoming tasks are disseminated in a timely manner.

You will serve as the BUMED HQ and its Detachment Telework Program Coordinator in accordance with BUMED instructions.

You will provide guidance, advice and recommendations to the managers/supervisors and employees on telework issues and actions.

You will review all telework applications/agreements for accuracy and conducts random audits to ensure adherence to standards set forth in the BUMED HQ instructions.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the - Experience developing programs and procedures to facilitate provision of all administrative support to the Command. - Experience coordinating office policies with those issued by other organizational components of BUMED.- Experience conducting administrative reviews and control of correspondence, presentations, spreadsheets, supply and materials management, military and civilian leave tracking, and all other office records.- Experience editing administrative status reports and maintains informational databases. - Experience revising budget requests for travel, staffing and related administrative support needs of the directorate. service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
