MINNESOTA NATIONAL GUARD:
This position is located in the Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF) #2. Its purpose is to provide automated logistics Standard Army Management Information System (STAMIS) support to all State activities and organizations and a wide range of specialized methods and techniques for planning, analyzing, and identifying problems; and developing and implementing resolutions in the organization, administrative, and systemic programs.

A Logistics Management Specialist, GS-0346-11, Serve as an advisor to the Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist on all Combat Service Support STAMIS systems and automated logistical programs within the AASF. Exercises knowledge and oversight for all matters pertaining to the fielding and operation of STAMIS systems and automated logistical programs. Utilizes an extensive knowledge of logistics programs/operations and a clear understanding of automated systems to manage projects and programs for system integration of CSS automation. Serves as a systems administrator for all STAMIS systems and automated logistical programs and as the technical expert within the State. Troubleshoots diagnostics and resolution of technical problems identified in trouble tickets and initial setup of services STAMIS computers. Develops programs to ensure software/interim change packages are applied in proper order. Serve as the primary point of contact for functional administrators and users of serviced databases. Resolves issues and problems concerning the effectiveness and efficiency of logistical STAMIS administrative and systems work operations. Provides direction and guidance to supported CSS STAMIS users in the submission of automated systems problem reports/change proposals. Analyzes requirements, establishes programs/procedures ensuring effective coordination on CSS automation hardware systems and peripherals. Directs user-level assistance on STAMIS and automated logistical program operation sand automated systems utilization. Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
GS-11 - Must have at least 36 months experience, education, or training identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices.

REMARKS: No PCS available. Members with rank higher than identified in 'Key Requirements' are eligible to apply, but may be required to take a reduction should they be selected. The military grade of the supervisor must equal or exceed the grade of personnel supervised. Sensitivity Level 2.

IAW NGR 600-25 AND AFI 36-101, grade inversion within the full-time workforce is not permitted.

Area 3: National Guard Technicians and Traditional National Guard members from other states, and civilian persons eligible for membership in the Minnesota Army National Guard.
Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of appropriate education, experience, training, self-development activities, and special awards. Candidates are considered on the basis of available information on their current application and supporting information that has been provided to this office.
