Work involves the responsibility for managing the accuracy and integrity of the City's property information systems. This position is also responsible for updating and coordinating data changes affecting all real estate parcels within City limits, directly into the three counties' property management systems. Work involves understanding, interpreting, and applying Minnesota property tax laws.
High school diploma and post-secondary degree or licensure and two years of progressively responsible experience in a real estate, property appraisal, or related field or High school diploma and five years of progressively responsible experience in a real estate, property appraisal, or related field.
Within three years of hiring date, successfully obtain Certified Minnesota Assessor (CMA) licensure from the Minnesota Board of Assessors and maintain licensure status at the City's expense.
