Ideal candidates will be hard-working, detail-oriented, and able to keep on task with minimal direct supervision. Machining experience is preferred but we can provide training for exceptional candidates with limited machining experience.
Critical duties will include:
Checking machines to ensure proper functioning.
Measuring parts using Calipers, Micrometers, Profilometers, Comparators, and a variety of other measuring equipment with accuracy to within .0005” to ensure parts meet or exceed customer requirements.
Recording measurements and other information as part of our ISO9001 and AS9100 quality system requirements.
Maintaining a clean, safe work space.
Critical Skills include:
Basic measuring equipment: Calipers, Micrometers, Go-NoGo Gauges, etc.
Attention to detail.
Problem solving/ Troubleshooting
Knowledge of general shop operating and safety practices.
Additional Skills which would be helpful:
General computing including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Advanced Measuring Equipment: Profilometers, Visual Comparators, etc.
Knowledge of/ Experience with ISO9001 and/ or AS9100 Quality Systems.
