The Federal Reserve Bank is looking for a motivated and talented intern, who is passionate about innovation, to help us promote a revolutionary API-management solution across the Federal Reserve System with the National Integration Services (NIS) team.You will develop and execute marketing strategies to help promote adoption of the API Management platform. You will work closely with the NIS team and our customers in a rapidly evolving environment to define, design and develop our brand. You will manage email communications, online communities, Wikipedia’s, Sharepoint’s and other communication channels. The high-level goal of this position is to increase customer awareness and build the brand of the API Management service offering.To be successful in this role, you must have stellar leadership and communication skills, with a marketing background, thrive at working collaboratively and as a self-starter. You will need to learn complex businesses very quickly and manage competing business priorities. You will have a unique opportunity to:
Be a part of a select team that creates an API Platform that will service the entire Federal Reserve System.
Take your marketing and communication skills to the next level by leading the effort of socializing the API management service offering.
Take part in creating a consistent image and brand for a revolutionary service offering within the Federal Reserve System.
Design a wide variety of high quality marketing materials, ranging from posters, handouts, initial sales decks, onboarding decks, etc.
Create video tutorials, guides, and demos to increase customer experience.
Manage various customer facing communication channels.
Assist with managing news releases, announcements, and updates.
Effectively able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
Host and facilitate brainstorming sessions to define “what” the brand is.
The program is available to full-time undergraduate students attending an accredited college or university. You must meet the following criteria:
US citizenship or permanent residency
Enrolled at a U.S. university
Preferred Majors: Marketing
Junior, or senior standing in a 4-year Bachelor degree program
Students in Master’s degree programs are also encouraged to apply
Demonstrated leadership skills
The ability to work 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the 10-12 week internship
Demonstrate creativity and thought leadership to create original marketing materials and unique ways to promote our service offering.
Able to work collaboratively, coordinating among cross-functional teams and manage priorities.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and presentation skills; strong and demonstrated interpersonal skills to build relationships, and pitch to senior leadership.
Ability to work effectively independently or in a team environment.
Strong leadership skills to host and facilitate meetings, brainstorming sessions and gather requirements.
Knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform or similar API Management solution is a plus.
