Summary

Defense Contract Management Agency uses the Expedited Hiring Authority to recruit and appoint qualified individuals directly into shortage category or critical need acquisition positions.

Individuals in this four-year Emergency-Essential (deployable) status can expect repeated deployments to combat locations overseas in support of contingency operations as mission requirement are determined. These locations are typically in a designated combat zone. Generally, the deployed work locations have power, water, heating, and air conditioning, although outages should be expected. The living conditions will vary widely: ranging from having all basic amenities such as light, power, water, refrigeration, to not having one or more of these amenities. Environmental conditions at work locations may range from excessive heat and humidity to extreme cold and rainy.

Physical demands during deployment include: Lifting a minimum of 45 pounds, ability to hear and wake up to warning alarms and hear instructions in the absence of visual cues, live in austere working and sleeping environments, and the ability to wear personal protective equipment, including protective masks, ballistic helmet, body armor, and chemical/biological protective garments. Prior to placement, selectees must sign Contingency Response Force (EE) Conditions of Employment. Responsibilities

Analyze performance data and determine the frequency needed to determine if performance goals/initiatives are met.

Performs risk assessment and analyses, relying on relevant customer data, supplier data, and Government data to identify poor performance results.

Prepares reports and maintains records of work accomplishments and coordinates the preparation, presentation and communication of work-related information to the CMO?s Senior Leadership Team.

Reviews contracts and other technical data to identify requirements in support of Production, Planning, and control ensuring resources are aligned based on requirements.

Maintains QAs organizational calendar and suspense log ensuring action items and tasking are tracked to closure within specified timelines.

Represents the supervisor for the purpose of obtaining resources at Resource Reviews.

Provides detailed guidance and instruction to teams on correcting the misapplications of policies and instructions to improve the overall effectiveness of the CMO.

QUALIFICATIONS: In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
