Joining the Federal Protective Service (FPS) means protecting and delivering integrated law enforcement and protection services to our national critical infrastructure of federal facilities. In this position, you would be responsible for directing, implementing, coordinating, and overseeing all compliance, quality management and process improvement activities of the Protective Security Officer (PSO) Program Management Office. Plans, develops, and coordinates planning management through briefings, presentations and conferences for executive management and the regions.

Performs law enforcement and physical security assessments, and assesses contract security guards to ensure that a comprehensive, active viable law enforcement/physical security program exists within the Region and other national subordinate installations.

Utilizes a variety of administrative, analytical, and technical methods and techniques to ensure operational compliance with policies, directives, regulations, and Federal laws.

Provides consultation for headquarters management staff on a variety of matters relating to the application of quality management systems and programs to meet mission requirements.

Travel Required

76% or greater - The incumbent will be required to travel frequently.
