Summary

The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is surrounding area (Surrounding area means: Beauregard, Rapides, Sabine, or Vernon Parishes). This position is located at one of the DFMWR/Community Recreation Division Facility on Fort Polk.

Per the Ft. Polk NAF NAIL Collective Bargaining Agreement Article 20/Section 3b, When Flexible employees work for a period of 180 consecutive days averaging twenty (20) hours or more a week, the employee should be converted to Regular Part-Time.

Responsibilities

In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery.

Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.

Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.

May provide work guidance to other staff.

Performs other duties as assigned.
