This position will work with the Customer Support Services (CSS) Provisioning team and will coordinate and schedule the installation of computer devices with our customers.

You will be a creative and analytical problem solver with a passion in delivering excellent customer service.

Job Duties
Communicate with customers primarily through email, phone, and chat to coordinate and schedule the installation of computer devices Assist contacts in understanding the recommendations and costs associated with the upgrades, and follow through on all necessary budget approvals prior to proceeding Recommend upgrades to key contacts within the organization's departments/divisions Download hardware and software data into Excel and arrange date into a clear, easy-to-understand data Coordinate with the purchaser to order new equipment based on scheduled upgrades and assist with inventory data, as needed Assist team with general needs and Office issues
Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills
At least 3 years of general office experience Able to work independently and in a team environment Excellent customer service skills, including maintaining focus on the customer issue amidst a bustling, fast-paced environment Ability to effectively follow up on the status of many individual multi-step processes Skill in prioritizing work load and adapting to changes in work load demand Extensive experience and comfort with Outlook Demonstrated experience and comfort with the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner Demonstrate ownership to resolve challenging customer issues, escalating when necessary Effective problem solving skills including decision making, time management & immediate prioritization of tasks as assigned Ability to approach problems logically & rationally Organized and detail oriented Ability to quickly & effectively prioritize work time in various departments to meet business needs Interest in technology and how the role of technology will shape our tomorrow Ability to determine customer needs and provide appropriate solutions Able to deal with conflicting priorities and assist customers in scheduling within their priorities
Desirable
Experience in the use of Office 365 products including SharePoint and Planner Basic knowledge of technology terms and use Direct experience with Continuous Improvement (Lean) Prior experience in public sector and/or a desire to work in public service

Work Schedule
The normal work week for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Alternative work schedules may be considered. This position is eligible for overtime pay.

Employees are covered under retirement plans provided through the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems and are covered by Social Security.

Sick Leave
is accumulated at the rate of one day per month. There is no restriction on the amount of sick leave that can be accumulated and carried over to subsequent years. At retirement an employee will be paid 35% of their unused, accumulated sick leave. Non-represented employees and employees in certain bargaining units will receive this benefit as a payment to a VEBA account, which pays for post-retirement health benefits on a pre-tax basis.
