Summary
This position is located in the U.S. **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. (DOE) Loan Programs Office (LPO), Management Operations Division (MOD). The MOD provide corporate business operations and external coordination functions for all LPO Divisions, federal and contractor employees. A successful candidate in this position will serve as a budget analyst providing corporate-wide budget, accounting, and estimating services to ensure the availability of funds for LPO federal loan and loan guarantee programs and administrative services.
Responsibilities
As a GS- 14, full performance level, Budget Analyst you will:
Prepare official documents formulating the LPO budget based on CFO and OMB guidance.
Participate on budget task forces and ad hoc committees and meetings, conferences, and symposia concerning policies and procedures on data processing and management techniques
Maintain effective liaison with CFO staff on budget transactions, program developments, reprogramming, and supplemental requests.
Ensure the integrity and soundness of all LPO financial execution and analytical work related to the multiyear program budget.
Manage budget execution operations, including entry and verification necessary for the administrative control of funds, apportionments, allotments, and financial planning to assure conformity with appropriate federal directives, policies, and financial controls.
Develop and apply software applications to facilitate program reporting and analysis, track program budgets and projections, identify trends, refine program assumptions, and ensure timely and accurate budget execution.
