Summary

This position is located at Fort Gordon Financial Management Support Division here on Fort Gordon, GA.

Work Schedule M-F 07:30-16:00, Occasional Evenings and Weekends.

Responsibilities

Serves as the principal office administrative support assistant operating independently of any other such position in the office.

Provides support and assistance to supervisor and, in some cases, his/her subordinate staff by performing varied general office duties auxiliary to the work of the organization

Reviewing outgoing correspondence, reports, etc., for format, grammar, and punctuation, and removing typographical errors;

Planning and arranging the maintenance and preparation of information needed for budget reports.

Maintains suspense records to insure commitments are completed as required.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

The duties require a knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and requirements; various office skills; and the ability to apply such skills in a way that increases the effectiveness of others. The duties do not require a technical or professional knowledge of a specialized subject-matter area. Must have progressively responsible work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform in such capacity. Positions that have a typing requirement require that the incumbent type a minimum 40 words per minute and to be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Power Point software

Best Qualified/Highly Preferred criteria: Working knowledge and experience as Organization Agency Program Coordinator (OAPC) for Government Purchase Cards (GPC), Government Travel Cards and Defense Travel System

Proficient in DCPDS, AutoNOA, SNACS, RecTrac, and ACCESS

Experience as a Billing Official and GPC card holder

RM experience in ACCESS and CPOL

Experience in processing NAF travel order, travel vouchers, PCS en route/TQSE claims

Great customer service skills (internal & external) with a positive attitude and a willingness to work.
