The work carried out by this position engages in directing and coordinating the work of those involved in national and international intelligence programs and liaison activities. This position starts at a salary of $134,789(GS-15, Step 1) to $164,200 (GS-15, Step 10) with promotion potential to $164,200 (GS-15, Step 10). In this position you will serve as a key member of a team of Homeland Security professionals responsible for national and international intelligence programs.
Your duties will include: Serving as a Director for the Office of Intelligence and being accountable for the day-to-day leadership and execution of the organization's intelligence mission
Overseeing the development of national policies and strategies related to law enforcement related intelligence program requirements and operations
Managing long-range planning activities to meet intelligence objectives
Representing the Assistant Commissioner in meetings and conferences involving high-level officials from other Federal agencies, foreign countries, members of Congress, and various governing boards and committees
Representing the organization on the coordination of issues with law enforcement and intelligence community partners.
