Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Diagnoses system failures on network devices to isolate root causes between equipment, system software and applications; 2) perform daily inspections and tests of all network systems; 3) Monitor and evaluate systems compliance with IT security requirements; and 4) assist with security evaluations and reviews to ensure proper levels of security are implemented.

Undergraduate or Graduate Education: Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.

You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Security Plus Certification, Microsoft certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), certification.YOU must obtain the above certifications within twelve months of appointment of this position.
