Day Job The St Louis Fed is one of 12 Reserve Banks serving all or parts of Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas with branches in Little Rock, Louisville and Memphis. The St. Louis Fed\u2019s most critical functions include: promoting stable prices and economic growth, fostering a sound financial system, providing payment services to financial institutions, supporting the U.S. Treasury's financial operations, and advancing economic education, community development and fair access to credit. The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis serves as a fiscal agent to the U.S. Department of the Treasury and supports key business lines and programs in partnership with the Treasury. The Do Not Pay (DNP) Program is designed to give paying agencies access to the critical information needed to identify, eliminate, and prevent improper payments. This program provides government agencies with access to databases that permit for the eligibility of a payee to be validated before Federal funds are disbursed. Overview The Senior Agency Outreach Liaison will be responsible for consulting with agencies on ways to reduce improper payments by utilizing DNP\u2019s services. The Senior Agency Outreach Liaison will serve as an advocate to ensure agency needs are met, expand program usage, and identify and share program enhancements. Responsibilities Serve as the liaison for assigned agencies, including: Engage and facilitate discussions to identify business problems and develop plans for utilizing one or more of DNP\u2019s service offerings to help reduce improper payments. Provide customized training and program presentations to agency customers Develop and maintain institutional knowledge of assigned agencies, including details regarding their cultures, organizations, and issues to help enhance DNP program offerings. Develop and articulate a comprehensive awareness and understanding of the DNP Portal and DNP analytical capabilities and their benefit to various Federal and State agencies. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and organize information at the appropriate level for the various project stakeholders, including agency success stories or enhancement requests. Communicate high priority agency related topics during weekly stand-ups and team meetings ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of key topics and issues. Anticipate questions from Treasury and agencies in advance of discussions and leverage a strong understanding of the DNP program to convey a confident and accurate response. Develop a strong understanding of agency wants and needs for the DNP service offerings through agency communication, feed-back and research. Develop knowledge of improper payment reduction measures to consult with agencies on ways to combat improper payments. Work closely with the internal team to ensure that new DNP application enhancements are fully vetted and understood. Lead independent project tasks as needed to support specific outreach initiatives.
