THE HOURLY RATE FOR THIS POSITION IS: $41.14 TO $47.98 PER HOUR
Performs work planning responsibilities. Independently plans on a weekly or monthly basis the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials in an organizational segment or group. Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences, and plans work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies set by higher level supervisors. Coordinates work with supporting or related work functions controlled by other supervisors.
Performs work direction responsibilities. Independently assigns work to individuals and provides technical direction and/or help in accomplishing difficult work steps and processes. Investigates work related problems such as excessive costs or low productivity and determines causes. Determines the number and types of workers needed to accomplish specific projects employing technical and practical working knowledge of a wide variety of mechanical and electrical systems, tools, equipment and procedures.
Performs administration responsibilities. Participates with employees in the development of performance plans. Advises employees in advance of performance expectations and explains new work techniques, as required. Provides proper guidance and direction, continuous feedback on strengths and weaknesses.

Performs/Serves as Wing Corrosion Program Manager. Performs the duties of Wing Corrosion Program Manager and serves as the point of contact for all corrosion prevention and control technical support and policy clarification between the 91 MW and the AF Corrosion Prevention & Control Office (AFCPCO), HQ AF Global Strike Command (AFGSC), 20 AF, Systems Program Office (SPO) and Ogden Air Logistics Command (OO-ALC).
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Position requires ability to obtain and maintain PERSONNEL RELIABILITY PROGRAM certification as a condition of employment. Must meet the requirements outlined in DOD 5210.42R_AFMAN 10-3902, permitting work in close proximity to critical components and/or nuclear devices. This position is PRP Category: Code D.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance is a condition of employment.
Work will require the employee to drive a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver's license is required for the position.
Incumbent will be required to attend a Coatings Inspector course sponsored and conducted by the Steel Structures Painting Council (SSPC) as directed by AFGSCI21-105.5
Shift work may be required; may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays; emergency overtime may be required.
Pre-employment physical is required. May be exposed to toxic paints, chemicals or other hazards,
Pre- employment occupational health examination is required and annually thereafter.
Physical demands: must be able to travel to remote site (some up to 130 miles from support base) in all kinds of weather conditions. Climbing up and down ladders at sites as well as other strenuous efforts may be required, such as stooping, lifting, crouching, reaching and kneeling.
Work environment: Incumbent may be exposed to hazardous explosives, high noise levels, danger of electrical shock, extreme weather conditions, and exposure to dirt, grease and oil. May be required to work in heights up to 90 feet and in closely confined areas. Wearing of all safety equipment required for each task.
Dispatch to and from LF/s and MAF's is required. Remain over Night (RON) at a MAF could be required as a result of inclement weather, timeliness or safety reasons.
This is a drug testing designated position. Incumbent may be subject to random testing for drug use.

The certification must reflect the service member is expected to be discharged or released from active duty service in the armed forces under honorable conditions not later than 120 days after the date of submission. The certification must be signed by, or by direction of, the adjutant, personnel officer, or commander of your unit or higher headquarters and must indicate when your terminal leave will begin (if applicable), your rank, dates of active duty service, the type of discharge and character of service (i.e. honorable). Further, under paragraph (h) of the rule, agencies are required to verify a qualifying separation from military service prior to appointment, through the DD-214 or other appropriate documentation.
