The Charlotte Branch Executive has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant Senior.  In this role, and under minimal supervision, the Administrative Assistant Senior provides complex administrative duties in support of the Branch Executive and associated officers and staff.  Duties include but are not limited to: calendaring and travel arrangements; office reception and phone coverage; meeting and events planning and support; communication and engagement with external constituents; ad hoc project/workgroup support; invoice processing and payment; maintenance of supplies and office environments; and, liaison to branch leadership and staff.  The position is located in Charlotte, NC and reports to the Branch Executive.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

Produces, proofreads and edits reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other various reports, some of which are confidential or sensitive in nature

Maintains department-wide calendars and department databases as needed

Makes travel arrangements for officers, management, and other department staff. Prepares vouchers in travel system

Performs purchasing and payment activities for department, working within established guidelines to ensure compliance with Federal Reserve policies and timely payment of invoices

Responsible for scheduling and coordinating meetings, conference calls and events for management team

Maintains department records including department procurement records to meet requirements of audits and operations reviews 

Performs other incidental duties as assigned

5 to 9 years of administrative assistant experience

High school diploma or GED 

 Knowledge & Skills:

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint along with other various online applications

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong grammatical skills for proofreading and editing written reports and other correspondence

Critical attention to detail

Basic project management and analytical skills

Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks appropriately

Attentive response to internal or external requests for information

Ability to work independently with moderate supervision and direction

Effective working as contributor and member of a team environment

Possesses thorough knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of assigned functional areas

Other Requirements:
