As the General Business Operations Manager/Senior Manager in FISC, you will lead the General Business Operations unit for a Division responsible for the supervision of 12th District financial institutions.  The role is an opportunity for you to utilize your expert leadership, collaboration, and critical thinking skills, as well as, your business expertise to manage a diverse range of operations.  A critical part of this role includes collaboration and partnership with FISC business lines and the Bank’s support areas.  This position reports to FISC’s Group Vice President of Strategy and Operations.   


Lead and support all FISC division staff compensation programs on merit, variable pay, promotions, and equities.  Including personnel administration of data changes, tracking of vacancy and job postings, and the onboarding and offboarding of staff.

Oversee training operations for the Division: nominations, enrollments, memberships, training MIS, budget tracking, website maintenance, communications, Fedlearn administration, and proficiency exam facilitation.

Manage travel support for the division which includes travel MIS, budget tracking, training, and backend system maintenance.   

Oversee all division purchases/p-card processing, reconcilement, and administration.   

Manage all day to day facilities and space planning for the San Francisco Office.

Responsible for the executive and administrative support team in the Division who support the FISC Officers and their management teams, as well as, coordinates all events. 

Manage Kronos and ROAM-Time the division’s two time tracking systems.

Participate on System Management Committees and/or Workgroups.

Serve as the Secretary to the Division’s Workforce Development Committee.

As part of the leadership team for FISC’s Strategy and Operations Group, contribute to the development and advancement of the group’s priorities and business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination and job related experience equal to 6-8 years. 

At least 7 years of experience in operations management.

Strong organizational skills to manage competing, dynamic priorities and multiple concurrent activities.

Outstanding people manager, with strong leadership skills, presence, and proven ability to coach, lead, and develop teams.

Exceptional collaboration skills with an ability to partner effectively with others in the pursuit of common goals.

Problem solver with good judgement and the ability to communicate complicated matters in a simple and structured way.

Ability to take innovative approaches to identify improvements for operational effectiveness and efficiency.     ','!*!Behavioral Competencies:
