This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Public Affairs, Visual Communications Division located in Tucson, AZ.

Responsibilities
This position starts at a salary of $87,857.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $114,215.00 (GS-13, Step 10) with promotion potential to $114,215.00 (GS-13, Step 10).
Developing all facets of production schedules to include coordinating staff activities, making administrative and logistical arrangements, and using multimedia equipment to produce presentations;
Editing a variety of audiovisual media for productions by using established procedures and standard equipment;
Operating equipment used for the recording, production, broadcasting, distribution, or exhibition of audiovisual products; and
Planning, organizing, and coordinating all support required for successful completion of projects.

Qualifications
You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level or equivalent performing duties such as:
* Producing, directing, and providing technical guidance to others in producing state-of -the-art audio and video production materials;
* Solving production problems; and
* Designing a plan for the production and distribution of television and audiovisual materials.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
You must:
* Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process; and
* Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service) by 08/15/2018.
