Responsibilities

Provide support to US Army Pacific G61 Cybersecurity Program Manager on network security matters

Develop new policies or recommend changes to existing Army policies and procedures for managing strategic or tactical automation and Cybersecurity

Enforce security policies and safeguards for command-wide systems

Administer Cybersecurity operations and readiness programs

Coordinate with Cybersecurity Managers to ensure compliance with Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM)

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes implementing and monitoring an Information Assurance Program; developing IT and Cybersecurity Program policies; ensuring the integrity of automated systems and networks meet regulatory requirements. In addition to the specialized experience, I possess experience in the four competencies as defined: 1) Attention to Detail: Analyze directives from higher headquarters to provide guidance to serviced activities; 2) Customer Service: Provide assistance to customers on IT and cybersecurity programs; 3) Oral Communication: Provide guidance on cybersecurity program policies and procedures; 4) Problem Solving: Identify system issues and advise management on threat mitigation.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
