This position is located in Region 10, Office of the Regional Administrator or another Program Office in Anchorage, AK, Seattle, WA or Boise, ID.

Responsibilities

You will:

Review and analyze existing administrative policies and evaluate new and/or proposed administrative processes, policies, and requirements for potential application, and to resolve administrative issues.

Oversee the timely completion of travel arrangements and travel vouchers to ensure documents are completed and approved in a timely manner.

Serve as the point of contact for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Correspondence Management System (CMS).

Compose and prepare a variety of correspondence, reports, briefing materials, and narrative materials.

Develop, coordinate, and oversee internal office administrative policies, procedures, and processes.

Travel Required

Occasional travel - You may be required to travel 1 to 5 days per month.

This position is designated as Low Risk and requires a background investigation. Unless an appropriate background investigation is already on record with the Office of Personnel Management, you must undergo a background investigation.

You must meet time in grade requirements no later than 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement.

Qualifications

You do not need a degree to qualify for this position.

We are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below:

To qualify for the GS-09 level, you need to have at least one year of full time experience equivalent to the GS-07 level defined as analyzing administrative processes or procedures; using software applications to prepare correspondence and reports; and making travel arrangements for other staff members. - OR master's or equivalent graduate degree; or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B. or J.D., if related; degree in any academic discipline.
