positions at the Associate Director for Decennial Census Programs (ADDC)
area located at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. The Census Bureau is accessible form the Metro Rail Green Line-Suitland Station. Positions may be filled in Greenbelt, MD or Washington, Navy Yard.

This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other IT Specialist (Systems Analyst), GG-2210-14
positions within the Census Bureau in the same geographical location with the same qualifications and specialized experience.

This position will be filled as a Term Appointment not to exceed 2 years or 9/26/2020, whichever comes first, with the possibility for extension at management's discretion.

A trial period may be required.

This position is ELIGIBLE
for telework; additional criteria will be required (e.g., supervisory approval).

This is a NON-BARGAINING
unit position.

Relocation expenses will not be paid.

This is an open continuous announcement. The initial cut off date for referral is August 24, 2018. After this date additional referral list will be created as vacancies are available. This announcement covers multiple positions within the various Directorate of the US Census Bureau through October 31, 2018.

The individual selected for this position will:
Prepare business cases for application of IT solutionsDefine system scope and objectives.
Develop overall systems and functional requirements and specifications.
Lead project teams in advanced systems software/hardware project efforts.
Develop contract documentation and monitor contractor performance.
Ensure application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the systems analysis process.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
For the GG-14
, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13
in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience include leading project teams in advanced systems software/hardware project efforts; functioning as a technical authority in all assignments; preparing business cases for application of IT solutions; developing overall systems and functional requirements and specifications; defining systems scope and objectives; developing cost estimates for new or modified systems; developing contract documentation; and ensuring application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the systems analysis process.

Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training(for example, IT certification), as appropriate.
GS-5 through GS-15 (or equivalent):
For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

Education at this grade level cannot be substituted for specialized experience

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
