Provide information and assistance to passengers, and Airport users. Operate computer and business machines. Assist at CCAA events and functions. Work involves shift rotation, weekends and holidays.

Examples of Duties

1. Receives, greets and directs passengers and airport users as appropriate. Provides a

variety of routine information to staff and the general public.

2. Operates a private branch multi-line telephone system to receive incoming and facilitate

outgoing calls. Routes calls to appropriate staff member on site.

3. Operates computer, copier/fax, calculator, credit card machine and metered postage


4. Operates paging system to alert passengers and other airport patrons in need of


5. Maintain balanced cash drawer at all times. Submit accurate Daily Revenue Reports to

the Finance department.

6. Correctly calculate appropriate fees to be collected for mail back items and the sale of

metered postage.

7. Calculate and administer cash and credit card transactions.

8. Performs other duties as assigned to meet overall objective of the position and the

department in support of the CCAA Mission.


This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Ability to read, analyze, interpret and explain (orally and in writing) documents such as procedures manuals and maps. Knowledge of the area and ability to give directions to someone who needs them.


Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.


Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

The employee must be able to function indoors in an office environment engaged in work of

primarily a sedentary nature. Requires sufficient hand, arm, and eye coordination to operate push button and keyboard-type equipment, sort and file documents, and operate common business machines. Requires the ability to keyboard accurately at an acceptable rate. Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time. Must have sufficient visual acuity to read words and numbers, recognize documents and people, and observe lighted displays. The employee regularly lifts and/or moves up to 20 pounds.


The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.


Information Desk and Business Center are staffed from normally 5:00 AM until 11:00 PM, 365 days per year and/ or during special times as determined by the needs of the Authority.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year of relevant front desk customer service experience.
