POSITION SUMMARY: The Information Technology department is seeking a self-motivated, process oriented Supervisor, Budget and Administration with problem solving and analytical skills. This individual should have demonstrated an ability to work well within a team, partner with other areas, and have an excellent Customer centric attitude. This position will lead a team of diverse roles in supporting the local IT function of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas including Procurement, Administrative Assistants, and Telephone Operators. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Performance coaching across a wide range of job and skill levelsResponsible for the coordination and processing of department personnel and salary administration (variable pay, merits, promotions)Collection and publication of metrics and reportsResponsible for coordinating department wide responses, submissions, and eventsOversight of purchasing and contract maintenanceWide range of compliance activities related to system access, purchasing approvals, and policy adherenceFrequently the point of contact for the department on a wide range of activitiesBasic budget related activities COMPETENCIES: Attracts Top Talent: Directly responsible for recruiting top talent to ensure the team is cohesive and high functioningDevelops Talent: Directly responsible for coaching and developing staff by providing timely and relevant feedbackCommunicates Effectively: Will be called upon to communicate frequently to the entire department and to coordinate responses to other departments, Districts, and System workgroupsCustomer Focus: Leading a team of support staff requires a high degree of Customer focus to ensure the results meet stakeholder needsValues Differences: Will be called upon to foster an environment where different backgrounds, experiences, and viewpoints feel accepted and encouraged to participate REQUIREMENTS: Customer focused attitudeDemonstrated ability to handle extremely confidential informationTakes responsibility and pride in contributing to the success of an organizationAbility to take ownership of area of responsibilitiesExcellent attention to detail needed to be successful in this roleGood verbal and written communication skills when interacting with Customers, Business Partners, Management, and various other stakeholdersAbility to analyze data and identify trends and outliersStrong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple duties, assignments, and projects simultaneously; excellent problem solving skills with the ability to influence outcomesProficiency with Windows environment and command of Microsoft products EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in a Business related field preferred, other disciplines consideredMinimum four years of relevant experience, in progressively senior roles; managerial experience helpful but not requiredStrong organizational and analytical skillsAdvanced experience with MS Excel requiredEquivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements WORK HOURS AND CONDITIONS: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Flexibility/additional hours may be required NOTES: Assessments may be required as part of the interview process.
