The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is for citizens and non-citizens who live within a 30 mile commuting distance to West Point, New York. The FMWRC mission is to create and maintain FIRST CHOICE MWR products and services for America's Army, essential to a ready, self-reliant force.

Recruitments from this vacancy announcement will be filled for the Army Community Recreation Division for West Point Golf Course.

Located in the scenic Hudson River Valley, only 50 miles from New York City, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point is a four-year academic institution, a nationally-renowned historic site, and the oldest continuously occupied military post in America. West Point's 3,000 civilian employees have access to Eisenhower Hall Theatre, the Hudson Valley's premier performing arts center, and recreational facilities such as an 18-hole Golf Course and Ski Slope.

The dual compensation guidelines DO NOT apply to this position. All GS and NAF employees whether fulltime or part time are eligible to apply for this position

Responsibilities

Sets up steam tables, dining room tables, and side service stands with hot and cold food.

Breaks down tables and cleans up area, and returns dishes and food to the kitchen area.

Assemble green or fresh fruit salads, brews coffee, makes cold sandwiched with prepared ingredients.

Unloads and stored food from the delivery trucks.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

Must have skills and knowledge to perform food service work (such as cleaning tables, setting up food in lines, setting up steam tables, setting up dining room tables, make cold sandwiches, operate a dishwasher, clean cooking utensils, etc.)

Highly Preferred

Meets state / local age requirement, 18 years old, for serving alcohol at the time of appointment.

Has a valid driver's license.

Proof of license will be required prior to appointment.
