Responsibilities

? Leads and oversees ISR unit crew members and their activities to optimize use of resources and maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the assigned crew.

? Creates post-mission reports containing the analysis derived from each exploitation function.

? Assures ISR unit crews maintain the capability to provide timely and accurate operational intelligence support and intelligence personnel are fully trained to support exercise and contingency operations.

? Achieve and maintain qualification in one or more crew positions according to unit standards.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of the concepts governing the DoD intelligence mission, collections, operations, and analysis. Must be extremely knowledgeable of the terminologies, methodologies, research and analytical techniques as applied to highly complex assignments in intelligence, collection and analysis and the ability to apply facts and estimates derived from numerous sources to a variety of problems having difficult technical aspects. These positions require a basic knowledge and understanding of one or more of the Intelligence Community's (IC) disciplines.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs

): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

1. Knowledge of Air Force ISR assets, remote-split operations architectures, full-motion video exploitation techniques, DGS operations, and exploitation software.

2. Knowledge of USSOCOM components and subordinate commands to include classified missions assigned to components and detailed knowledge of AFSOC's missions and roles as part of USSOCOM.

3. Knowledge of US intelligence community policies, entities, missions, resources, operations, capabilities, databases, and requirements to perform intelligence research planning, operations collection, target analysis, and other intelligence collection related activities.

4. Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and methodologies of intelligence analysis and research to include link analysis and database manipulation.

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE

: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE

: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
