The Police Support Technician performs a wide variety of clerical, technical, training, and financial work which directly supports both the Rochester Police Department with regard to arrests, bookings, investigations, court relations and the release of law enforcement data. Individuals may be assigned to various divisions including Records, Investigations, or Department Support and Training.
Education and Experience
An Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in business, accounting, or finance or a closely-related field AND at least one (1) year of full-time employment experience where accounting was the primary area of responsibility.
MN BCA Single Certification required within twelve months of hire as a condition of continued employment.
MN Notary Public within 12 months of hire as a condition of employment.
