The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking a senior, graduate level or recently graduated college student for the RADAR Securities Evaluation Services business unit.
The RADAR Securities Evaluation Services (SES) team within the Supervision, Regulation & Credit department focuses on topics related to fixed income securities. As such, we are targeting an intern that has great interest in the fixed income market. The intern will assist the team on a variety of research and surveillance efforts within different areas of this market. All of these projects will focus on analyzing data.
The key project for the intern will be to assist in research/surveillance on the Commercial Mortgage-backed Securities market. The intern will work with a variety of vendor data (Intex, Bloomberg, Trepp, etc.) to monitor the performance of the Commercial Real Estate loans backing these transactions as well as the performance of the securities. The intern will be responsible for organizing these data in a meaningful way, synthesizing key takeaways, and communicating that insight back to the project leads. This work will spawn a variety of deliverables include research papers, internal memos, internal presentations and dashboards.
