Summary

The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is the Island of OAHU. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)

This position is located at Fort Shafter Bowling Center in Honolulu, HI. Hours of operation is Monday - Sunday 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. Scheduled hours will vary, MUST be available to work days, nights, weekends, holiday's & special events.

Fort Shafter Bowling Center offers 22 lanes of Open, Cosmic and League bowling. The popular Strike Zone snack bar, located inside the bowling center, offers a full menu of tasty hot foods and island favorites. Our Pro Shop features a variety of bowling supplies and, private lessons to keep you on top of your game.

Responsibilities

Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers.

Assists management with the operation of facility in accordance with established procedures.

Assists in setting up parties according to party plan.

May assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier?s bag. Completes Daily Activity Report.

May monitor inventories, place and receive food and beverage orders using Food track or similar software.

May be required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items.

Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment.

Skill in providing customer service

Ability to communicate effectively.
