As an Adminstrative Assistant (Office Automation), you will provide a variety of technical and administrative support services to OCC management and bank examiners, including maintaining schedules, arranging meetings, and preparing correspondence, charts, and documents.

Responsibilities

As an Administrative Assistant (Office Automation), you will:

•Provide administrative and technical support to an organization, including maintaining schedules, arranging meetings, and preparing correspondence, charts, and documents.

•Use computer software to create, edit and print reports, spreadsheets, graphic presentations, and a variety of correspondence.

•Track files for a wide variety of issues, including maintaining, updating and purging files.

•Serve as liaison between managers and staff for administrative reports and/or issues.

•Maintain adequate levels of office supplies, participate in task forces and special projects, and may serve as a primary timekeeper.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 60 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:

You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-II band level or GS-3 grade level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:

Providing clerical and administrative support to an organization such as drafting letters or creating reports using automated systems, maintaining files and records, and communicating with individuals inside and outside the organization to share or obtain information.

OR

You may substitute education for experience as follows: 4 years of education above the high school level in any field.

OR

You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience.

AND

Typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute.

The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
