As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist at the GS-0201-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serve as Chief, HR Services Division and the key advisor to the Agency Directors and Staff Office Chiefs on the full realm of issues related to recruitment, placement, classification, and pay.
Provide guidance and assistance to supervisors and employees concerning all areas under the purview of the HR Services Division.
Perform the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties.
Provide data to the Department Chief and HR Director to evaluate HR Services program areas for quality and quantity of work, regulatory compliance, and effectiveness of service to management and employees throughout the Agency.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13
grade level in the Federal service: Serving as a key advisor to Agency Directors and Staff Office Chiefs on issues related to recruitment, placement, classification, pay and matters that typically involve the analysis and involvement of multiple personnel specializations.
Providing guidance and assistance to supervisors and employees concerning all areas under the purview of an HR Services Division.
Advising high level agency managers on recruitment and placement strategies, classification, position management, organizations change requests, and related human resources matters.
Providing management with options and recommendations for effective program operations and advice concerning program regulatory and legal requirements.
Maintaining liaison with regional HR service provider to ensure efficient HR operations.
Participating in meetings to promote acceptance of human resources programs and management initiatives.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
