This position is located in the Program Evaluation Division, Office of Evaluation, which assesses HUD's programs and operations in a timely, credible, and constructive manner. Our evaluations result in reports or other written products that HUD can use to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, impact, or sustainability of its operations, programs, and polices. As a Supervisory Program Analyst (Supervisory Evaluator), you will:
Lead or conduct evaluations or portions of complex evaluations of HUD programs including their management, operations, support systems, contractors, and automated information systems.
Develop plans tailored to each specific evaluation. Adapt the evaluation plan to fit special circumstances encountered in an assigned evaluation, including changing areas of emphasis and devising new approaches as determined by an analysis of preliminary findings.
Meet with top management officials, program personnel, and OIG management to present and explain findings, conclusions, recommendations methodologies, and to answer other questions.
Prepare and review evaluation work papers, interview summaries, briefing materials covering findings, and ensure that the evaluation team tracks and maintains all documents essential to the evaluation.

Planning evaluations or performance audits (hereafter referred to as evaluations) of agency programs or operations; AND
Managing evaluation projects or portions thereof; AND
Applying analytical techniques to answer evaluation objectives; AND
Providing technical guidance and consultation to others on matters related to evaluations; AND
Preparing written products detailing the results of evaluations; AND
Working with agency officials to reach recommendation resolution and closure.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement
