Serving as the Chief of the Customer Support Division in the Customer Operations Directorate.
Providing shared support to the Customer Operations Directorate, its subordinate divisions and its customer operations teams.
Working primarily with the Whole Government customer account specialists in identifying their needs, solving or coordinating timely resolution of customer orders/support problems.
Serving as an active participant in customer outreach initiatives to assess customer satisfaction and inform customers of DLA capabilities.
Providing direction to local Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs and initiatives, oversees their implementation, and ensures they are aligned with corporate strategies, plans and objectives.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Examples of specialized experience are identified in the Major Duties section of this vacancy announcement and may also include:
- Provides oversight for the Customer Accounts Management, Whole Government, and coordinates on higher level customer agreements as part of the CRM process.
- Collaborates with Financial Management to ensure resolution of issues relating to pricing, billing and goods receipt (failed invoices, unfilled customer orders, unliquidated obligations, internal document errors).
- Communicates with customers on requirements, item pricing, and program processes.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). This is an Acquisition, Technology & Logistics (AT&L) Workforce Position. The incumbent will be required to become certified at Level III for positions advertised at the GS-13 and higher in the applicable career field within 24 months, unless a Position Requirements Waiver is approved to extend the 24 months. AT&L position requirements will be used in the evaluation criteria.

DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE:The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has established a Drug-Free Federal Workplace Policy.
