About the Position:
Serve as Chief of the Resource Branch reporting directly to the Chief of the Soldier and Family Readiness Division (SFRD) within the Army Chief of Staff for Installation Management (ACSIM) Installation Services (IS) Director (an SES-level position) who makes assignments of a very broad and general nature covering long range program plans, objectives, policies and who provides overall guidance through discussions on matters of policy, relationship and coordination necessary between this staff advisory element and other technical and administrative elements within HQDA.

Serve as Resource Management Officer (RMO) and financial, budgetary, logistical, and general management advisor to the Chief, Soldier and Family Readiness Division.
Provide oversight, advice, and recommendations to subordinate program and management analysts to develop policies, manage MDEPs, establish procedures and goals for special programs and projects
Responsible for the vertical and horizontal integration of programs embracing all the military services, DoD agencies, joint commands, military personnel (active and reserve) and civilian employees.
Develops procedures and instructions to adapt HQDA policy and regulations to Family and MWR Programs.
Coordinates resource management related staff actions relating to budget/ manpower through staff elements in the Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Office of Management and Budget (OMB),
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
