NON CLINICAL PROFESSIONAL
Responsible for the development and maintenance of advance operational course curriculum, training tools and resources, including electronic training manuals. Provides feedback to management based on audit results. Works closely with all levels of Revenue Cycle Management and other departments to ensure quality training programs are consistent with employee performance goals. Professional educator/presenter capable of public speaking and delivers highly proficient content deliverables in the classroom, skype and onsite as applicable. Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Bachelor's degree in general education, information services, health adminstration, business administration, health sciences or professional field, preferred.
Must have 1 year or greater knowledge and direct experience with patient accounting systems, registration and/or billing and collection processes.
JOB RELATED CERTIFICATION - COTR
Specific Acceptable Credentials (if applicable)
Epic Credentialed Trainer Certification within 6 months of hire date
In lieu of the Above Minimum Requirements
In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an associate's degree in related field with three years workforce experience in healthcare, technology, registration, patient account services OR high school diploma and five years of workforce experience in healthcare, technology, registration, patient account services.
