The Public Safety Officer (Lincoln Park Campus) will report to the Sergeant of Public Safety. The Public Safety Officer will detect and prevent crime and enforce all laws and University rules and regulations, preserve the peace, protect life and property within his/her span of control.
This position will monitor the safety of students, faculty and staff on the Lincoln Park campus through patrol activity on campus and within DePaul buildings, monitor visitor access to DePaul buildings, conduct foot patrols, lock down classrooms and respond to service calls and alarms and report suspicious activity. This position will also assist Chicago Police and Fire departments with special detail, as needed, for campus activities and events.
