Responsibilities

As a Administrative Specialist, you will:

- Provide coordination, advice and assistance in a variety of administrative areas, to RESTORE Council Staff.

- Establish and maintain a formal system of procedures and administrative controls.

- Act as a point of contact for GCERC in order to provide instruction, coordinate activities, gather or provide information, and resolve problems.

- Review incoming correspondence, publications, regulations and directives, routing them to the appropriate party and reviews outgoing correspondence, regulations, and directives to ensure finished product conforms to GCERC policy and regulation.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience: For the GS-09, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:

- Participating in or assisting with projects or assignments that impact the operations of an organization/agency; AND

- Researching, assembling and summarizing data from a variety of sources to prepare reports and other correspondence; AND

- Serving as a point of contact to internal and external stakeholders coordinating various administrative activities.

OR

You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: A master's or equivalent graduate degree or two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D, if related.

OR

You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. The experience may have been gained in either the public or private sector. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
