The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is currently seeking qualified candidate for the position of Autism Project Manager in the Division of Developmental Disabilities. The Autism Coordinator under the general supervision of the Deputy Director. Must be able to maintain consistent and supportive interactions with individuals and family members affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder or related disabilities. * Provide strong planning, organization and evaluation. * Facilitate development of a structure that supports the strategic plan. * Establish sound working relationships and collaborations with other community groups and organizations * Conduct official correspondence. * Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and Autism. * This position is responsible for ensuring the highest level of service availability and efficiency as benchmarked against industry standards and consistent with enterprise goals and constraints. * Creating Policies that govern Autism Programs, Operations. * Assure that administrative records and reports are established and maintained in compliance with policies and regulations. * Provide design specified services in the community and in the home in accordance with the ISP as written. * Ability to design and direct the implementation of a behavior modification intervention plan which is individualized to a person and/or family needs. * Development of ongoing communication and education/awareness sessions for outsourcing initiatives and benefits that pertain to services outlined. * Ensure the continuous improvement provisions of the SLA framework are implemented for the services contained within the service portfolio * Providing the necessary management and staff contributions to the annual technology planning processes with a focus on all technical service areas * Ensuring the Service Provider performs the disaster recovery services and testing as outlined in the Master Service Agreement * WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE THIS POSTING AT ANY TIME Qualifications: Masters degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of related supervisory experience OR Bachelors degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND Two years of related experience, One year of which in a supervisory/lead role OR completion of 90 quarter hours (60 semester hrs.) at an accredited college or university AND Four years of related experience, One year of which in a supervisory/lead role OR Two years of experience required at the lower level Planner 3 (GSP052) or position equivalent. Note: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.
