The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital, we provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life.
Under the general supervision of the Public Safety Supervisor, the Public Safety Officer performs a variety of safety and security functions including hospital and parking area inspections.
H.S. Diploma or GED required
Must have previous law enforcement, military, corrections, public safety or emergency services experience; OR be a current student in or a recent graduate from an accredited criminal justice degree program.
Valid CT Driver’s License required
4 weeks of full-time training across all shifts is required
