The hours of work encompass fluctuating tour of duty to include evenings, night and weekend and holidays.* Must be proficient in the use of assigned firearms/weapons, pass an initial qualification, and must qualify semi-annually thereafter in the use of assigned firearms/weapons.* This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter.* This position requires participation in regularly scheduled Security Guard Training.* This positon will require the successful completion of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid Certification.* May be required to wear chemical protection masks, gloves, and other protective equipment, and may be required to be certified in the use of aerosol irritants and baton.* This position requires a passing entry level and annual re-certification of standard Army physical fitness/agility test.* This position requires a prescribed uniform to be worn on duty.* Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle driver's license.* Must be able to obtain and sustain state ceritfication for operating the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) data base.* This postion requires shift work, or a change in work shift may be necessary.
