1. Crafts effective recommendations for highly complex or sensitive situations that incorporate strategic direction by identifying the impact of the course of action.

2. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the organization’s mission, functions, values, applicable policies and procedures, and internal and external factors that may impact the organization.

3. Plans, organizes, prioritizes, and schedules work unit activities to complete assignments in a timely and effective manner.

4. Demonstrates the experience to work dynamically across the IC and Special Operations communities of interests on matters involving clandestine intelligence and/or clandestine sensitive special operations.

5. Demonstrates the experience in developing clandestine intelligence and/or clandestine sensitive special operations capabilities, conceptualizing their employment, and effectively coordinating their employment in a successful manner relative to the assigned requirement(s) and objective(s).


1. Experience as a special operations operator / operative, collector, or operational planner at a USSOCOM special mission unit and/or Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).

2. Completion of an USSOCOM validated operator course, USSOCOM special mission unit operator / operative course, and the DCO and JSOC official and commercial signature reduction courses.
