Responsibilities As a Supervisory Education Policy Specialist at the GS-1701-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Provides strategic planning and create a policy roadmap for the registrar. Manages present and new education policies and operations guidance that enhances school operations and aid DoDEA in achieving system wide goals. Oversee DODEA's student information system, determining eligibility for enrollment, providing guidance and training to school registrars and processing transcript\/diploma requests. Works in collaboration with education program officials\/personnel, and subject matter experts in other divisions, in the revising and\/or drafting of policies and procedures that support DoDEA's Professional Development Management System. Serves as the DoDEA expert on providing educational support and options for military families\/students. Serves as a key leader in DoDEA's organizational culture. AND You may qualify at the GS-14 grade level if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience required for this position is as follows: -Providing strategic planning and creating policy. -Identifying and analyzing internal management control strengths and weakness, -Serving as an expert providing educational support and options for military families\/students.
