This position is located at the Fort Bliss Sports, Fitness, & Aquatics Program, Fort Bliss, TX.

Responsibilities

In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery.

Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.

Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. May provide work guidance to other staff.

Data Entry & Business Reports. Assist with accounts payable and receivable for monthly processes

Maintain and manage fitness equipment inventory. Maintain and manage marketing materials for all Sports, Fitness, & Aquatics Facilities.

Occasional assistance with group fitness class coverage.

Qualifications

**This announcement is announced as Best Qualified. Applicants meeting both minimum qualifications and best qualified criteria based upon answers in assessment AND experience reflected in resume will be considered before candidates only reflecting minimum qualifications of the position in their resume. Minimum Qualifications: Work experience which involved dealing with the general public.

Best Qualified Criteria: Possess a current Group Fitness Certification from an accredited agency. If not, able to attain it within the first three (3) months of employment.

Possess a current CPR/First Aid/AED Certification? If not, able to attain it within the first three (3) months of employment.

Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point and Outlook).

Experience with business budgets, analysis and inventory.

A copy of any applicable certification(s) must be submitted with your application in order to be considered
