The Customer Relations Support Office (CRSO) Industry Relations Representative serves as a key facilitator as a part of the CRSO Industry Relations Program team charged with establishing and strengthening industry relationships that contribute to achieving payment system improvement goals. This role designs programs for creating industry awareness of strategic goals and activities, focuses on establishing relationships across industry contacts and provides support to the team effort of securing industry support for executing strategic initiatives. Produces presentations and talking points for internal / external audiences building engagement around Federal Reserve System strategic direction. This job does not have any direct reports.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Communications and Events

• Develops and implements communication campaigns and toolkits to drive consistent and effective messaging regarding payment system improvement initiatives

• Contributes to communications program development, execution, monitoring and reporting, to include social media, traditional media, web, email, in person/online events and other channels

• Develops and manages content in support of media relations, industry meetings, speaking engagements, web and social media presence, conferences and Fed events

• Deploys and manages Project Management tools and techniques to keep projects and team on track

• Partners with CRSO marketing, analytics and sales, District outreach, public information and product offices as needed to achieve objectives

• Applies strong written/verbal skills to develop effective internal and external communications

Industry Relations Program Administration

• Develops programs to administer Industry Relations Program (IRP) activities including industry relationship strategies and plans, in-person/online events strategies, project planning, tracking activities and internal/external reporting on program performance

• Implements and utilizes tools and processes to support IRP central coordination of industry relationship activities including annual planning, event planning, messaging, and reporting

• Captures, synthesizes and reports key learnings from industry interactions to inform business plans and decisions

• Proven expertise in presenting to and collaborating with executive management

Industry Relationship Management

• Builds programs and supports the CRSO Industry Relations leadership team in efforts to build favorable relationships with industry organizations to achieve strategic objectives

• Provides industry research, executive briefings, executive talking points, action-item tracking, meeting participation and reporting

• Produces presentations and talking points for internal / external audiences building engagement around Federal Reserve System strategic direction

 ','!*!Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as noted below

• 2 - 3 years related work experience

• Community relations, marketing, sales or relationship management experience

• Corporate or marketing communications experience

Knowledge and Skills

• Independent thinking and decision-making abilities

• Strong written and oral communication/presentation skills

• Strong attention to detail and time/project management skills

• Ability to work well in diverse groups and with executives at all levels

Other Requirements and Physical Requirements

Must be willing to travel up to 20 percent of time
