The selectee for this position will serve as a PRINCIPAL ASSISTANT PROGRAM MANAGER FOR LOGISTICS in the PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE, LITTORAL COMBAT SHIPS (PEO LCS) of PEO LITTORAL COMBAT SHIPS.

Responsibilities

The successful selectee will perform the following duties:

Evaluates and coordinates the execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) to ensure achievement of desired outcomes through development and implementation of appropriate product support arrangements.

Establishes work assignments to be accomplished by the employees in the program, preparing schedules for work completion, and ensuring the timely performance of satisfactory work efforts.

Manage logistical operations required to support the Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC) Program.

Develops, justifies, and executes the product support budget for product support programs as well as working any programmatic issues.

Design, develop and execute training of foreign Navy students in preparation for ship manning and operations.

Establishes and maintains internal and external channels of communication across government and industry.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band, NH-03, (GS-12/13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, coordinating and implementing ship or system acquisition logistics and life cycle support utilizing logistics support elements (e.g., logistics management, maintenance planning & design interface, technical publications, material management and etc.).
