Summary

Performs all of the duties normally required in supervising a small group of employees (i.e., hiring, separating, reassigning, taking disciplinary action, promoting, evaluating, etc.)

Assigns work to subordinates.

Assigns work to subordinates. Ensures that the scheduled plan of operation, tools, and materials are available, use is understood, and provides operation instructions if necessary.

The incumbent checks working condition of the MEI?s equipment on a daily basis.

The incumbent provides assistance, training, and safety instruction to assigned workers.

The occupation and highest level of non-supervisory work supervised is Material Examiner and Identifier NA-6912-06.
