Space Management Specialist, Office of the Executive Officer
Can you take a task from a vision statement to the implementation stage of a space management program? If so, this is your perfect opportunity.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) invites candidates with strong project management background and experience orchestrating space management projects. In this position you will also have the opportunity to work on other special projects for the Executive Officer. The NIH Clinical Center maintains a 200-bed capacity that supports the intramural research programs of Institutes and Centers across the NIH. The hospital supports an extensive range of acute care patients who are research participants with long-standing relationships with their care team.
The Office of the Executive Officer directs, coordinates and conducts administrative management and planning activities of the Clinical Center (CC) by providing direction and support to the CC executive staff and CC departments in areas of administrative management, human resources management, finance and budget, acquisitions management, information resource management, space management and other CC wide administrative projects.
The ideal candidate for this position will develop project plans for each approved space management project; conduct space utilization and feasibility studies in the Clinical Center; oversee the space and facility management database to track space and facility changes; keep architectural backgrounds up to date; inspect space for conformance with occupancy standards; perform and lead special projects for the Executive Officer.
