Day JobJob SensitivityTier II - No Credit Check Product Manager The Federal Reserve Bank is looking for a motivated, talented and innovative Product Manager who is passionate about driving emerging technology throughout the FRB with the National Integration Services (NIS) team. This group is part of the Information Technology Services (ITS) department of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (FRBSF), which has partnered with National IT (NIT) to operate NIS on NIT\u2019s behalf. NIS is a portfolio of both mature and emerging data\/application integration platforms architected to support the FRB\u2019s most critical systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work with NIS who enables the integration of systems and applications across the Federal Reserve enterprise utilizing specific middleware technologies to support business objectives for internal customers such as Cash, Markets, Statistics and Reserves, Bank Supervision and Regulation, and external customers including the US Treasury. The fast growing, dynamic and proven NIS teams are a tight-knit, cross-functional group that tightly collaborates to deliver impactful results to our business across the FRB. Given the NIS growth, impact and importance to the NIT landscape, we are recruiting a Technical Product Manager to help lead the design, launch, and scaling of an API Management solution. You are a self-motivated, analytical, excellent communicator that leverages superior organizational awareness and collaborative influence to drive value across the suite of NIS platforms. You will be a Technical Product Manager working cross-functionally with Architects, Engineers, Business Analysts, and Service Managers, Communications team and beyond across multiple teams in a rapidly evolving. To be successful in this role, you must be an organized, self-starter with stellar leadership and communication skills, who can work independently building relationships and driving customer engagement while championing change and continuous improvement across the portfolio suite. This position requires the candidate to excel in uncertainty, seek dynamic environments where change is the norm and has a proven track record in maintaining strong relationships with our customers, partners, teammates and executive stakeholders. Key Areas of Responsibility: Responsible for strategic product development, cross-functional communication, client engagement and critical stakeholder management across NIS Lead emerging product management research, strategic positioning to meet evolving business needs, map product requirements and feature roadmaps and coordinate detailed planning to evolve the product management suite Utilize your experience in change management and industry best practices to help NIS products evolve in the upcoming hybrid operational ecosystem Identifies key opportunities for business process improvement, as well as development of technical or process enhancements to increase operational efficiencies, or reduce costs across the FRB Anticipates industry and product trends, capability prioritization and tradeoffs, balancing business needs versus technical and resource constraints Liaise with partners and consulting organizations, managing the engagement, to support specific bodies of work critical to NIS Reviews project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and allotment of available departmental resources to various project phases Continuously benchmarks project management performance to identify improvements and achieve higher maturity in project management capability Plans, leads, organizes, and motivates multiple large, complex enterprise-level projects consisting of multiple teams and\/or requiring integration with other activities outside of the project team\u2019s scope Works across districts and organizations interacts with all levels of management and staff Qualifications Bachelor\u2019s degree in Management, Communications, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience 5-7 years of development\/engineering, project\/product management, business consulting or equivalent Demonstrated communication and change management experience across a large enterprise Ability to coordinate and work with diverse groups of subject matter experts Self-starter, with a personal standard high bar of performance excellence Understanding of Product Management best practices and proven track record in working with cross-functional, non-dedicated teams Ability to develop communication strategies and executive artifacts, product strategies and roadmaps, and deliver complex material to tailored audiences Proven Ability to work effectively independently or in a team environment Strong analytical, collaboration, leadership, critical thinking, multitasking, and time management skills Ability to influence successfully in a highly matrix or virtual organization Demonstrates independent thinking and decision-making abilities Ability to quickly receive and process information Judgment to escalate risk based decisions appropriately Some travel may be required Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card holder with the intent to become a U.S. Citizen Benefits At the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco we offer a wonderful benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Pre-tax Flexible Spending Accounts for Medical and Day Care, Vacation and Sick Days, 10 Paid Holidays, Commuter benefits, Matching 401K up to 6% and much more!.
